Marie Rose Guiraud

Ivorian choreographer and teacher, founder of EDEC and the troupe Les Guirivoires.
She collected gestures rooted in initiation practices and transmitted them on stage with exacting care.
Her works toured across Africa and beyond, giving Ivorian dances lasting visibility.
She trained generations of performers and choreographers, built professional pathways, and established dance as a living heritage.
