Loza was born in 1985 in Brazil and grew up between Côte d’Ivoire and the United States. She is a visionary fashion designer who has captivated the global fashion scene with her bold approach to design.

Raised in a multicultural environment, her early exposure to a rich tapestry of African traditions and global influences laid the foundation for her unique creative vision.

Loza pursued her passion for fashion after graduating from the University of the Arts of Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation. During her journey, she honed her skills and developed a keen understanding of 3D construction as well as a deep sensitivity for the intersection between culture, identity, and fashion.

In 2009, driven by a passion to celebrate the beauty and diversity of African culture, Loza Maléombho launched her eponymous brand of fashion and accessories, marking the beginning of her journey in fashion entrepreneurship.
